Dinner before Jazz Fest Sunday, June 28
Hi all. I'm new to Toronto (crossed the border yesterday) and new to Chow as well. The BF and I are going to a jazz fest concert Sunday night at Nathan Phillips downtown. We are looking for recommendations for good place nearby that is open early Sunday evening (say 5:30 ish) before the show. We are open to about anything except "fast food and generic chain" type restaurants.
Also, if anyone has advice or caution about the crowds/wait times/parking etc for this event, we would love to hear them.

Within walking distance as well, and open from 11AM onwards, Beer Bistro.

It may not seem nearby but Starfish is within easy walking distance and opens at 4 pm on Sunday.
