Yakima, Tri-Cities, Walla Walla -- But Particularly Yakima

We're making a Walla Walla wine run from Seattle this weekend. I'm primarily looking for a great place in Yakima for dinner, as I think that's where we'll be dinner-hungry given our departure time (3:30). But I'd be delighted to get any recommendations. Seriously, any recs, ranging from Taco Truck to Fancy.

Speaking of Taco Trucks, there is one out at the Walla Walla Airport each year for Spring Release near the Tamarack winery. Does anyone know where that particular taco truck goes during the rest of the year? It's the best food in the universe.

The taco truck goes down town. My wife works up by the airport and said he left. I think he actually quit. The best place now is Bernie's Taco In the old Skippers Building on Isaccs. They are basically a taco truck that moved into a building. Excellent food. And if you want the best burger and barbeque in town go to Mister Ed's on the east end of Isaccs. For cheese go to Cheese Louise on Wellington just off Isaccs

We were in the Tri-Cities last weekend (touring the Hanford B reactor--good geeky fun!) and had a very tasty dinner at Atomic Ale Brewpub & Eatery in Richland.

(Purists will want to stop reading now...)

I had the best Thai chicken pizza I've had in a long time, and the house-brewed Strawberry Blond beer (made with fresh strawberries) was perfect for a warm summer night. My companion had more conventional sandwich and beer and also enjoyed both.
