Comfy near Carnegie Hall

I'm meeting my father for a late dinner near his office near Carnegie Hall tomorrow, and would love to hear some recommendations for moderately priced (entrees under $20) restaurants in the area. Cuisine is not as important as ambiance - it shouldn't be too loud or touristy.

A new Szechuan Gourmet just opened on W. 56th St. Recent CH reviews have been positive (I've only eaten at the 39th St. one).

Molyvos, just a block or two south of Carnegie hall, has stellar greek fare from a star greek chef. Is where I last went for a show at Carnegie and it was fantastic.

I'd love to try Molyvos - but the least expensive entree is $24. We've been to Puttanesca before and have found it very loud

Molyvos is very good with nice ambiance and they do have a $37 prix fixe pre/post theater menu.

maybe Bar Boulud? i was going to suggest Josephina, but most of their entree prices are slightly higher than you requested.
