Smokin' Lils BBQ - Doylestown

We were driving through Doylestown last night when the familiar smell of burning wood and smoking meat wafted into our car. We pulled over across from a place called Smokin' Lil's in downtown Doylestown. Even though we had a big lunch we couldn't pass this up. You walk in and the big smoker s located right behid the counter. The cook opened the door to it and you could see about a dozen hunks of meat being smoked over real wood.

We had the ribs and pulled pork. Both were good and tender with tasty sauces. And as a bonus they sell tthe Coke from Mexico that comes in the old style bottles and is made with real sugar, not corn syrup. The atmosphere is cool in a southern road house style. The sides looked real good but we were just too full to try them. Next time we will. Overall a very good meal.

  1. My husband and I have seen this place a few times and have been meaning to try it. Thanks for the little review. I am going to suggest we go next week!
