Saturday Breakfast Wayne & West Chester?

  • 9

I have to go to Wayne for Noon on Saturday so I thought I would meet my friend who lives in West Chester for Breakfast. Where should we go? Any suggestions, places in/around and between Wayne and West Chester would be great. Thanks!

  1. It depends what atmosphere you like. Minelli's Diner on Rt. 30 has decent breakfast fare. Then there's the Radnor Hotel for the breakfast buffet. I've worked in Wayne for 17 years but can't think of any other breakfast places.

    1. You can't go wrong with the Classic Diner in Frazer. Not like your mothers diner food!. I also love Gramm's in WC. Good value and solid entrees.

      1. In West Chester, best breakfast in my opinion is Market Street Grill.

I agree 150%. Market Street Grille has a great menu and everything from standard breakfast food, plus lots of neat specials more like a brunch menu. Warning - - there pancakes are huge!! A full stack may be a bit much unless (like us) you want to revisit it for dessert with ice cream. I can say, never been disappointed with food, price or service.

          2. I also have to agree that Market St is the best breakfast in West Chester ..I highly reccomend the biscuits and gravy ..best in the area ....if they are too crowded and you dont want to wait ...walk around the corner to a new spot on Gay street called Olive Branch ...really good waffle

            1. Nudy's in Wayne or Classic Diner in Frazier.

              1. Go for the Classic Diner; the rest are all the same, not much to write home about. Much like any other city/area--go for something different; Classic Diner!

                1. If you're up for something different, go to the Strafford Farmers Market - just West of Wayne. Get the cinnamon swirl french toast or an Egg McMarket (fried egg sandwich) with sweet peppers at the lunch counter and some fresh squeezed orange juice. Then get some coffee from the place just across the aisle. You can also pick up some yummy produce and pies to take home. I really cannot recommend Minella's. It's a greasy spoon, and they rush you in and out. Nudy's has amazing cinnamon bun french toast (can you tell what I order for breakfast?) and excellent egg dishes as well. The atmosphere is nice as well - particularly at this time of year when you can sit outside.
