Congee near Grand Central?

ch_smooth Jun 24, 2009 07:42 AM

I will die today if I can't have congee for lunch. Anyone know of anything good near the Grand Central area? I'm on the east side, around Lex or 3rd Ave. Specifically I want pork & preserved egg congee. YUM.

I did a find-a-food search on Menupages and got only one result vaguely near you:

    Don't die, though.

Thanks! I doubt they'll deliver for a $3.23 order so I'll try to wrassle some people to go in with me.

      Not going to die now.

Not chinese but you could also try Ktown for jook. I know Hangawi has it, not sure about other places

I still go to Wing Wong on Little Italy side of Mott St. for that. Like their consistency. But no one gives enough preserved egg anymore! I have to offer to pay for extra.
