4 days in Bermuda

We are going to be in Bermuda for 4 days beginning on Saturday and we are interested in eating some good meals that are a good value. We will be staying at the Princess Southampton, but we are willing to travel. We like to eat seafood and would love to be able to eat some meals outside overlooking the water if the weather cooperates. Any suggestions are welcome.

I think you'll find some good suggestions there.

    1. Less Formal - Resonable Restaurants

      Near Hotel:

Gibbs Hill Lighthouse just opened with new owners and it right around the corner from the hotel...I have not tried it yet, so no review...sorry, but I hear good things about it

Henry's has a nice patio to sit and have lunch on

Hog Penny, they have a vast menu to select from, service is great and the Bloody Mary’s are out of this world! Located in Hamilton and have some wild entertainment with Will Black kickin’ it up.

Pickled Onion, also, located in Hamilton with some kickin’ entertainment, they have a cosmic martini selection to choice from. Not to mention some great eats. I personally have a weakness for their nachos!
UPDATE: Had lunch there last week, updated menu - had the chicken and black bean wrap with jack cheese and cilantro sauce...very darn good

Latin - A newer place i keep forgetting about...located in Hamilton on Victoria Street - not much of a view and they do not serve Bermudian fare, but they they have a great tapas menu an open air area with comfy seating and tasty drinks at a good price.

The first three are all owned by the same group of companies and each place is having specials this month and check out the websites

Bistro J, is one of the most interesting restaurants in Bermuda, I love the fact the menu is written on giant blackboards with a only a couple of selections of appetizers, entrees and desserts and the menu changes according to what is fresh, so local ingredients being used! some people say the menu is too limited though

Another nice place over looking the water is Harry's - great for Happy Hour bites or tapas, insanely good mushroom pizza and calamari...drinks can get pricey

Best Fish Sandwich in Hamilton: Fish Hut on Court Street

Frog N’ Onion Pub, They have great daily specials, lunch combos and different live entertainment what more could you ask for. however as some say it has a cave like decore,

There is also Bonefish grill, to me it does have better food and you can sit outside and watch the world go by...with a tasty beverage of choice of course.

      St. George's:

BlackBeards - great view, I have not been there yet this year, but the food was always really good.

Whitehorse is also in St. George's, pub style and right on the water

Cafe Gio, again on the water and last I ate there is was really good

Forecast is the weather is suppose to turn for the better this weekend...fingers crossed for you
