Sept Fantasy Football Draft- private room

looking for a private room in NYC that could accomidate 20 of us on friday 9/11 for a fantasy football draft from say 6pm-midnight.

we would be drinking and eating.... more appetizers and bar food than actual dinner, and we dont mind paying for the room, meeting a minimum, or doing a set deal with a per person cost.

anythoughts on a place..... anywhere is manhattan could work

Also, the back room at Stone Creek could be the perfect size - 27th between lex and 3rd. The owners name is Jon and i'm sure he'd be accommodating

public house and blue seats are both great ideas..... hopefully they wont be to pricey.

in years past we've had our draft on a monday or wednesday and have had no problem finding a space, but this year a FRIDAY is the day that works and we have to go with it

public house on 40th @ lexington has private rooms. they also have a private balcony. they have plenty of tv's plus one huge screen in the middle of the room that comes down for big events. the food is upscale bar food.

You can look into Stout's on 33rd. Nephew hosted a party similar to what you want to do.

I was thinking Stout too. They just did the sports bloggers conference there and I'd call their food above average for the genre.
