Key Peninsula Restaurants
We have a retreat on the Key Peninsula near Home, Washington in July. Does anyone have any restaurant recommendations? We are looking for a few options, preferably walking distance from each other, and preferably in Home, if they exist there. I can't find any information online about Home or the surrounding area. Plenty of info exists about Gig Harbor, but I think that will be too far for us to go from our lodge. Thanks in advance!

We also have a place up the beach from Home. All I know of are the burger place near the bridge and what might be a small diner a block south of there which may be a figment of my imagination. It's usually grilling on the deck for us and other home cooking . The little fish stand at the shopping area by the Purdy Bridge has excellent halibut and crab in season. I'm intent on taking the half hour drive to Shelton for a dinner at the acclaimed Xinh"s.

I lived in Washington state on the Kitsap Peninsula for nearly thirty years and had never heard of Home, Washington before reading this post. I Googled it and found a tiny entry. Trust me, you are not going to find many great eateries within walking distance of your lodge. It is a beautiful area but for good food you will most likely need to head to Gig Harbor.
