Hi,
I've recently started getting into the whole organic thing. I've noticed that there are a lot of coffees out there, but was wondering if anyone new of an especially good one, so that I don't have to try them all. Also, since it's summer...any good iced coffee that is sold in supermarkets or gas stations?
Thanks!

I suggest ordering beans from Blue Bottle Coffee Company in Oakland, they offer organic beans that are wonderful. Check their website for current offerings.

Right, I drink espresso, but my favorite organic are Intelligentsia's Black Cat Organic and Anjilanaka, Organic from Bolivia. The second you can get roasted either for coffee brewing or espresso extraction

The Anjilanaka, I'm so in love with right now, I've been telling everyone who will listen about her, and have been moved to tweet a 140 character love ode to her...I think it'd be great for summer.

Groundworks does offer quite a few organics, but I've heard their roasting isn't as good as it was maybe 3 years ago. You might also try The Conservatory...call or check online for organic offerings.

If you're ever down here, Kean Coffee in Newport Beach and Tustin has a lot of organic coffees, a lot of fair-trade coffees, and some that are both. Ask for advice and they'll steer you right, particularly if Martin (Diedrich, the owner) is there.
