TheTuscan restaurant La Giostra in Monterey, CA has been closed indefinitely since November 2008. Please remove from your site the only review related to the restaurant. It is misleading!
I would appreciate you if you will notify me of the updating after the cancellation by sending an email to giosandoz@yahoo.com
Thank you.
Massimo Sartorio,
owner/chef

Sorry, but unfortunately, that's not something we can do. If we have a place record on the business, we can mark that as closed, but there are a significant number of mentions of La Giostra in our archives, many of them with conversation about other restaurants, as well, and we can't possibly clean them all up. If there's a particular mention you're specifically concerned about, perhaps a phone number you're still using that we could remove, we can take a look.

The search function is hit-or-miss, but even a quick check just now found comments on La Giostra in a slew of threads from '05 through '08:

It's valuable to site users to be able to read about closed restaurants. If a chef or restaurateur later opens a new place, we can check out comments on their previous places. That can at least give us an idea of their specialties and what they're likely to do well.
