I think there are a couple bbq spots in MB. The only one I've tried in the local area is Pig Out BBQ in Little River. It is NOT worth the effort to find it. Horrible bbq that's cooked w/o a single hint of smoke flavor (even though they claim it's smoked). The lack of smoke flavor might have something to do with the fact that there isn't a single piece of wood on the outside of the building (I drove around looking for a wood pile or stray log laying around).

As bad as it may seem, I'd recommend Sticky Fingers if you want to try decent bbq. At least SF smokes their food...even if it is a chain.

Pig Out BBQ in Little River has closed. Prossers in Murrell's Inlet is decent.

Agree Prossers in Murrells Inlet is the best.

However people seem to love Little Pigs in Myrtle Beach.

Also, there is a BBQ place out by the Hard Rock Park (Freestyle) that does an excellent business and is pretty good but I haven't been there in years since Prossers opened.
