I should mention that in their bound menu, they have a printed list of 15 specials listed in Chinese. On the wall (to the right as you walk in) are listed 20 house specials. These 20 specials include the 15 already listed on the Chinese only specials in the bound menu plus five additional ones.

Some of the specials are also written on the slips of wood that decorate the walls in the rear dining room, if you're wondering what those characters mean. I think it's meant to be a rustic village restaurant style decor feature, like the naive and charming paintings on the wall. This type of decor is or was fashionable in the PRC because of some younger people's faddish nostalgia for the "good old days" of the Cultural Revolution and being sent down to the countryside...you see it in places like Di Shui Dong in Shanghai for example.

The picture Daniel posted is of the 15 untranslated dishes. That's what he (& I, as well) would love someone to translate, as remembering all that the owner says isnt easy. Anyone eaten any of the 15?

If someone could scan it so it's legible I among others could address it.
                  As a photo it's a bit difficult.

I'm still finding it difficult to read. You could crop the photo (and maybe split it into two) so that the characters are displayed larger.

Same here...the characters are too small and the Chinese script is sufficiently enough of a grass stroke nature to make it harder to decipher.
