Patak Meat Market/Sausage Chalet
Hello all, I have been to Patak Sausage Chalet in Austell a couple of times and really like their products...
I love the Gypsy Ham, Russian Sausage, Beef Sausage, Slab Bacon and Keilbasa.
Can anyone else share what they love there? I would like to be more adventurous next time I go there.....
landjaeger, smoked pork chops, slab bacon, smoked liverwurst (heaven!), all the variations on kielbasa, 'stuttgart' meatloaf (really best very fresh- like before you get to the car)
I haven't been out there in a while, but I picked up some smoked liverwurst at YDFM today.

When they say they close at 6 they mean it no matter how many are in line when the clock hits 6. I called once 30 min. befire closing and they said not to come - that the existing line of people was not going to be fully served. That is typical of European culture, so I was told by a German friend. So go early.
I sometimes get what they call Canadian bacon aka smoked pork loin. It is not what I usually think of as Canadian bacon. It is sliced and ready to eat - makes delicious sandwiches. I keep wanting their Westphalian ham but I never find it in the case.
Lots of other excellent meats.
