Madelaine's. Been once when it first changed hands and for us, it was just okay. Best get some fresh opinions.

Indeed Madeline's is the name. And I've been pleasantly surprised at how good this has become. I was also a bit underwhelmed when it first opened, but have to admit going 4 times in the last 3 months. It's now one of my favourites - and one of those meals is in my top 10 meals of 2009 (so far).

I was there in early May and it was lovely.

I went with my sister at the end of May and we both loved it. I am looking forward to going back with my husband. Great food and service!

I haven't been to Madeline's, but if you want another alternative I like Crush Wine Bar... and I like Le Select just around the corner on Wellington. I've heard good reports about Marben (next to le Select), but can't vouch firsthand. Blowfish is in the opposite direction.

Madeline's food is very good. Way better than Crush and Blowfish and cheaper. You should try Grace on College as well. Both Chefs from these restaurant were the sous-chef of Susur Lee.
