Hidden Gem in Brooklyn for Friday dinn?

Hey chowhounders! Was wondering if anyone can share any hidden gems or "go to" spots for a Friday night dinner. We love trying new things but feel overwhelmed sometimes with all the choices out there. We live in the Sheepshead bay area but venture out to Sunset Park, Red Hook, PS, and Williamsburg often for our favorite spots in BK. Can anyone make any suggestions? Some specific things to try? We love Noodle Bars, Seafood, Indian, Latin fare, etc.? Thanks so much.

Szechuan? Bamboo Pavilion in Bensonhurst (closer to Sheepshead Bay than the neighborhoods you listed).
