The title says it all.

The Red Hat is booked. Any ideas? I'm wide open. Thanks...

Boat House in Ossining. Harvest. Half Moon Blu. Do a search on these boards for waterfront and you'll find what you are looking for.

If your thinking of Westchester here is a thread on the subject... http://chowhound.chow.com/topics/623386
If your thinking points north and west in the HV, then you may want to try up in Newburg, they have a whole area on the waterfront (Front Street) with an array of restaurants. I can't think of anything worth mentioning in Rockland but can tell you to steer clear of Pasta Amore in Piermont and Cafe Portofino in Piermont (they actually claim to have a water view but don't unless they put windows in). Can't think of anything in Putnam and while I'm sure there are some up in Dutchess I can only think of Shadows which has beautiful views but I would pass on the food.
