Best Eggs Benedict?

Hi there-

I am looking for recommendations for the best eggs benedict in LA. Ideally, I'm looking for recommendations in Studio City, Sherman Oaks, Toluca Lake, Burbank, Hollywood, but am open to drive further if it is really worth it!!!

If you want to take a trip down to Orange County try out Sabatino's sausage benedict with their homemade sausage in Newport or Plums in Costa Mesa their Chipotle-Cilantro hollandaise on the Santa Fe eggs benedict is great! Their Shirred eggs are really good too!

in WLA, I like Literati for Eggs Benedict.

Huckleberry may have an EB too.

If you want really amazing EB, then you got to go to WD-50 in NY (east village I think) - now, that EB will blow you away....nothing like you've ever had....google it....

I like the ones at the downtown Pacific Dining Car. Other great breakfast items as well - much better value then their lunch and dinner IMHO.

PDC has my fav eggs benni by a huge margin. In Toluca lake there is, or was, a decent place on riverside, s. side of the st. just e. of cahuenga. I haven't been in years. Kind of a bakery place.

You're thinking of Chez Nous, which would be my #2 pick after Square One in Los Feliz.

Sq1 offers three varieties, all superb:

* with Canadian bacon & baby spinach on a tuscan roll with hollandaise;
* with house cured lox and frisee on a shredded potato pancake; or
* with a portabello, frisee, & feta on a tuscan roll with hollandaise

Yes, it was Chez Nous, thanks. I haven't been in years, but used to work close by and went for breakfast often.

Square One's cured salmon thing is so good I can hardly ever order anything else there, always with the mixed-greens salad. Everything tastes so perfect with everything else.
