Stella's on Cambie

Hi there. I'm thinking of heading to Stella's on Cambie this evening, but haven't been and haven't really heard much about it. I'm in the Main St. area and have been to Wallflower, Latitude, Ping's, Crave, Public, Cascade - all the usual suspects there. Is there somewhere else that I am missing out on by not going? Thought we'd try a bit of a new 'hood. By the way, Cambie St. was just a thought - there's no reason not to try somewhere else. Thanks for the ideas!

I'd agree. The food at Stella's is nothing to get excited about. Have you tried Grub on Main St? I found the chow to be very good there. How did you find Wallflower by the way? I've been meaning to check it out.

Thanks for the input. I'll poll the others and see what they say. Haven't yet bee to Grub - maybe we should give that a go. Closer to home, and has a great name!! Wallflower is very good value - but each time I have been it's been rather quiet which changes the ambience of a place. The food was great though, I had the halibut - very tasty indeed. We have been a few time, once with the in-laws. My father in law wanted to taste one of the beerz and a very heathy taster was produced, no problem, no charge!
We'll see if the gang is up for beerz or food - thanks for the tips folks!

Stella's doesn't have great food, but it is pretty good for pub food. This Stella's branch has a bigger kitchen than the Commercial Dr location so it has a slightly different menu.

That said, I go to Stella's for the beer - not the food.
