Dinner in Tempe
Going to Gammage tomorrow night and looking for somewhere to eat beforehand with my six year old daughter. Would like somewhere reasonably close. Also looking for kid-friendly but my definition of that is just someplace that is welcoming to children. I consider Noca extremely kid-friendly. The one thought I had was House of Tricks. Any other suggestions would be welcome.
Thanks.

House of Tricks would be fine for kids in the same way that Noca is. There's not a separate kid's menu or crayons on the tables, but the patio setting keeps the ambiance casual. I can't foresee any hostility toward a well-behaved child there.
Some other options within walking distance of Gammage:
Caffe Boa -- mostly Italian with an Eastern European touch
La Bocca -- small pizzas, salads, etc.-----

I would highly recommend Tricks, although I'm not sure they would have kid-friendly food.
Another good choice is Oregano's, a bit east of Mill Ave, off University. Oregano's has delicious pizza, pasta, salads. I'm sure any 6 year-old would be able to find something to eat there. The place gets busy and parking can be a hassle, especially when there are events in the area.
