My girlfriend had a recipe for something her family called footballs. They were a meatball wrapped in a bread shell. The bread was frozen bread dough. The meat center was maybe something as simple as ground beef with onion soup mix added. Do any of you have the recipe? Thank you.

They're a spin off from a Filipino dish known as "Lumpia". Lumpia is made with spring roll wrappers but you can substitute bread dough and adapt any Lumpia recipe to make the dish you describe (be sure to cook the meat along with the herbs and spices first); they can be baked or deep fried.
