Biryani chicken history..so confused

Was in Ottawa and had a byryani chicken with peaces of pineapples and tasted nothing like the only I like the most at Halal786 on jean-talon in Montreal.

There's a new place under Halal786 that is also a Pakistani restaurant (the Greek place didn't last more than a few months). So I tried their Biryani chicken also and it tasted nothing like the other 2.

So even if my FAVORITE one is from Halal786 with all the flavors and fresh ingredients they put in it. Would the real biryani stand up?

    Pineapple in chicken biryani really sounds fake. You sure you were in Ottawa and not Hawaii ? :)

      I think Kerala style biryani has pineapples in them, but I might be wrong.
