Hong Kong House (Knoxville)

KyMikey Jun 18, 2009 02:40 PM

Plan a trip through there in next few weeks and will only have time for one late nite meal. Can anyone suggest what to order that is distinctive or unique? Have only been there once and recall getting some sort of hot beef roll appetizer or something similar, but can't recall what else I may have ordered..Whatever it was was good, tho. Hot and spicy Szhuewan is preferred, but not seafood other than fish.Thanx for any suggestions.

The best dishes are pictured on the wall to the left as you enter. Anything shown there should be outstanding. The best two main course dishes are probably dry-fried eggplant and roast fish, but they are similar in their spicing and probably shouldn't both be ordered the same meal. Look to the "chef's selections" or something like that part of the menu and go for it.

See the thread at http://chowhound.chow.com/topics/546672 for several opinions about the dishes there.

All the foods at there are terrific. No matter what you chose you always can find new favorite. Every time when I be there ,I chose some dishes I never test and always be impressive by it. Anyway, I t is a fantastic restaurant.
