Venice to LAX Anniversary Dinner

Today is my 3 year anniversary with my girlfriend and I want to take her out to dinner, but we are taking the red eye to Maine at 11PM. She lives in Venice and still has to pack, so we will be leaving from there around 7:30. Does anybody know of a good/romantic spot that would be on the way or is in close proximity to that area?

I am looking to spend anywhere between $100-$150 including a few drinks, but that can be stretched if the food is good. Any type of food is welcome except for Mexican. I was thinking about back tracking and taking her to Nook Bistro because we both have wanted to try it, but I don't want to miss my plane. Thanks in advance for your help.

Ado (good luck getting in), Gjelina (good luck getting in), Via Veneto, AK

For sure you'll get in to Chaya Venice, which is always solid - but call to make sure (this is if you can't get in to the others I listed).

Sorry this is delayed, but thanks again for all of your help. My girlfriend was really in the mood for a burger, so I took her to 26 beach since it was on the way and I have always wanted to try it. The burger was really good and I like the fact that they make their own buns. Thanks again.

i'd go to cafe del rey because:

      1) their food is good, they have a good wine list and good service.
      2) it is a pretty, romantic, restaurant
      3) easy, direct shot to LAX
      4) your car, which will contain luggage will be in an attended parking lot with valet attendants there the whole time, (UNLIKE the situation at many of the venice spots). in particular, for gjelina you will be parking your car, containing all your luggage, in a completely unmonitored spot in venice.
      5) your budget will be met

          For a quiet spot:
          Joe's on Abbot Kinney
          James' Beach ?

          For the "hipster" spots:
AK or Gjelina on Abbot Kinney
maybe Chaya Venice? Haven't been in years.

Is Marina del Rey too far?
