We're taking that man o' mine and our eight yr. old son biking along the Santa Monica/Venice/Marina Del Rey path and wanted to stop at a nice eatery along the way. We're open to all good cuisines at any price points, but don't want to venture too far off the main biking/walk. Any good recs, please?

i'd call them and ask if there is a place in their parking garage where you could safely lock up your bikes.
i agree, yogachik was brillliant with this rec.

also, i would advise resisting any urge you might have to order sushi at chaya venice on a sunday. stick to their other food.
