It may depend on where in Berkeley. My girls were happy we were in the Cafe Raj zone.

Here's the restaurants marked as having delivery in Berkeley. Click on restaurant name for phone number to check for details such as when they deliver, where areas they cover and delivery minimums, if any.

As you can see, Cafe Raj is in Albany. If you live toward that area of Berkeley, then change the search criteria to Delivery Albany ... or whatever city you are nearby such as Oakland or Emeryville.

Rustica has delivery. It used to be pretty good, I haven't tried it in a while.

I always forget about grubhub. Enter your address and zip and it comes up with restaurants that deliver, the hours the deliver and the menus.

The Berkeley branch of Holy Land delivers? Though they charge $7. Still, that's the best Mediterranean food in the area.

            Musashi makes good sushi.

Mehak is decent for Pakistani / tandoori, not sure how it compares with Kabab & Karahi, which smells great and gets a good crowd.

            India Palace, once was enough.

Limited for some. 53 restaurants for 94704 only 10 for 94708 and not Holy Land.
              Location, location, location.

I'd call rather than assuming grubhub got the location area exactly right.

Yes, definately call. For best results enter the delivery address and not just the zipcode. If I just enter my zipcode I get two restaurants. If I enter my street address, city and state I get three

They don't have every delivery, but grubhub has more than most. But sometime they miss cleaning up a restaurant that has closed if no one tells them. Mount Everest in the above list is long closed thought the restaurant that replaced them still delivers.

Khana Peena has been dropping flyers in my South Berkeley neighborhood. I haven't tried their delivery yet, but the food I had there was better than any of the Indian food I've had delivered to date. I don't know which branch the delivery comes from but my guess is Oakland.

Actually, it is the Solano branch that delivers. It was in the Chow serach of places in the second post. Their website isn't currently working to double check to see if they have added delivery either from the College Ave location or expanded the delivery area from Solano.

I like Khana Peena but few of my friends do. I'd recommend people try it once, at very least.

I don't think the food's as good as at Indus Village or Kabana, but they don't deliver.

Udupi has free delivery 5-10pm daily with a minimum order of $25? Weird they don't mention it on their own Web site.
