Cake Decorating classes in N. SD?

I am looking for a beginning/intermediate cake decorating and pastry class that is able to progress to advanced/professional as i would eventually like to learn gum paste, fondant, flowers, etc.. any suggestions on night/weekend classes in S. OC or North SD?

hopefully something in a form of a week/month series, not just a one nighter.

The chef at french gourmet does classes at mira costa college in carlsbad although I think they may have already started. All the other classes I know of are in san diego.

Another option is starting with some of the wilton classes at Michaels arts and crafts. A lot of the cake decorators are a bit snooty about them but its a good starting point...
