Costco Potato Salad has no taste

I bought 3 tubs of red bliss potato salad at Costco on Saturday and served them at a large church cookout the next day. It tasted like watery potatoes. Several people said it had "no taste" . I saw an earlier poster was looking for the Costco red bliss potato salad at their Costco and it wasn't available.. Did they change vendors in the Boston area or was the stuff I bought old? We recycled the containers in the public bins for recycling so I can't verify any dates. What a bummer. They used to have a nice product.

I find this stuff good for a crowd, but it needs to be doctored: horseradish, mustard, garlic, some hard cooked eggs, pickel juice, as they say on the Food Channel, "whatever you like."

That's weird, I haven't tried this product in years, but when I did, it always had a nice, tangy kick. Had to stop buying it as it was too rich and I was gaining weight.
