Boston-area sources for Sotol?

I'm looking to find sotol, a tequila-like spirit made from a plant called Desert Spoon. There's at least one brand, Hacienda de Chihuahua, available in the U.S. Many of the big internet liquor stores carry it, but alas, no shipping to M.A., so I'm hoping someone has seen it in area stores. Thanks.

    These guys have it: http://shoppersvineyard.com/

    For $21.99 a bottle, which is where I got it. They ship to MA (the laws just changed.

    )

    And they have an insane deal on Espolon 100% agave tequila right now. 6 half bottles 2 each of Silver, Anejo, and Reposado for $39.99. That's easily $120 of tequila at normal retail. Heck 3 bottles of Sauza hornitos would cost you $75. The shipping is about $16 for one bottle of Sotol and the 6 pack (half bottles) of tequila.

      Really? I had no idea about the shipping! My folks live pretty near that store, and I've been there in person - it's great. I also follow them on Twitter, they have lots of unadvertised specials.

      Anyway, so you own Sotol? Any thoughts?

        It's interesting. Similar to good silver tequila but more vegetal in character. I like it just on the rocks. Less of the spicy taste that good tequila has and really more plant/vegetable like in a good way.

        Don't know if I kill to buy it again, but it is interesting. I picked it up because I was buying the Tequila mentioned above and the Sotol just caught my eye. I had never even heard of Sotol and had to do some googling to figure out what it was.

        These guys will no longer ship booze to MA or anywhere else for that matter.
