It's comercial cookware (3 ply), anyone use it at home, can you compare/contrast it to the usual suspects. thanks.

This is the Vollrath Tribue line of tri-ply. Works okay especially if you're looking for sizes to use with induction that are either too expensive from the other brands or not available. I have a Vollrath Tribute 22L stock pot which will light up on an induction hob; under regular heat sources, no hot spots. Vollrath's other line of commercial induction-capable cookware doesn't light up on my hobs.

The only thing I was underwhelmed with was the lids; for the price, I would have expected something a bit heftier.

The Vollrath Tribute line of cookware is a superior brand except for the covers. I believe that the source metals are just like All Clad and they came out with a new design on the cool handles that are both comfortable and stylish. Now if they could only re-design the covers they would have one of the best lines of cookwear on the market.
