Salt packed anchovies are what I prefer to use for Caesar salads, pizzas, pasta puttanesca, etc etc. I used to buy them in Detroit and bring them home on the plane (carefully wrapped so the smell wouldn't get me booted off the aircraft!) I see I can order them from Zingerman's Deli in Ann Arbor. Anyone know anyplace close by. I know that Fresh Market and Whole Foods did not have them.
