Is there a catch to this 2001 German Riesling Auslese?!

With 2001 being a classic vintage for German Riesling and Wehlener Sonnenhuhr a prime estate in MSR. Most Auslese ranging from mediocre producers such as Deinhard to good ones like Student Prum and great ones like J.J.Prum are fetching top money. As such, I was surprised to come across at Toronto's Summerhill LCBO, a "2001 KETTERN Wehlener Sonnenhuhr Auslese" at only Can$21.75!! This is at least $15 cheaper than the next cheapest one in that category! The J.J.Prum in my cellar was over $60 when I first bought it! Anyways, since it seems like such a good bargain, I bought myself a few. But then, something clicks in my mind - This is too good to be true! There must be a catch somewhere?

Can any fellow Vino chowhounder enlighten me?!! Thx!!

There are tons of inexpensive, lesser known producers producing Auslese in this price range - it does not necessarily mean there's a catch!

Nice, if a selection is available; however the OP is in Ontario, and there is not a lot to choose from, at high mark ups by the LCBO.

I couldn't find Ketter when I searched Vintages, but did find Kettern
The '95 comes with an explanation that the 2.5 acre estate is closing due to lack of interest by the heirs. Whatever remains will be good value and wise picking by LCBO (I hate to say that!)

Does this label resemble your bottles?

If so, I expect all stocks will disappear soon.

Many thanks jay90!! Thats the wine! My mistake with the typing! Description sounds good!
Summerhill is too far a drive for me to pick up some more. May be I'll try Bayview village instead. Big chance the rest has already been picked up by Estufarian! Ha!

He is probably already on it.! You, or I can have bottles shipped to a convenient store, so get in there on Monday morning.
It is sad to see a small estate close this way, when so many wine regions are expanding, against economic pressure.
