Orange County Dinner

I'm looking for a place to try in Orange County for a family dinner. This is a small gathering (6 people) and it's our annual splurge. We tend to lean towards seafood/steakhouses (Flemings, 21 Oceanfront, Maestro's) and would love a suggestion for a place of that calibur.

Any help would be much appreciated!

You may want to consider Sapphire in Laguna Beach. Not your typical seafood or steak restaurant, but both are available and everything will undoubtedly be interesting and well-prepared.

I love Spark on PCH in Huntington Beach. Great Martini menu, creative appetizers, excellent steaks.

why don't you try mr.stox's in anaheim, I been eating there for twenty years. there food is always great, service is good , crab cake is my favorite.
do not go to white house , there food is horrable

You might investigate The Ritz across from Fashion Island. I quit going after Hans Prager sold it because of some disappointing meals, but there was an article in last week's Register that said there is a new co-owner/manager with a pretty impressive background. It does have fabulous ambience and beautiful decor. I'm looking forward to going back.
