OK, I am doing a third for Marcellino's. Do check on the dates that you wish, as Chef and Sima do spend much of the Summer in Italy.

Have been unimpressed by Avanti, especially since they re-did the western location. Poor acoustic design and the food seems to have suffered.

To date, have not been a fan of Christo's, though we've tried it a half-dozen times. Same on each visit - not up to the standards of Marcellino's. Same for Tutti Santi (16th St location only).

Second Marcellino, especially the homemade pastas. A favorite is the Santa Lucia special - black-ink fettucine with lobster, mussels, clams and calamari.
