Do you mean Cafe Bizou in Old Town Pasadena (on Raymond)?

If so, my opinion is that there is nothing spectacular about the food, nor anything really distateful for that matter. I think the one thing that makes this place stand out is the rock-bottom corkage fee (I think it's only one dollar, maybe a bit more -- there used to be NO corkage).

Crowded, rushed, and generally uncomfortable. If you're into the best pure food bang for the buck, this may be the place, but if ambience is a factor you may not be happy.

I remember the original location in Sherman Oaks was spectacular when I went like a decade ago, so I thought I'd give this one a try, and I wasn't really impressed. The food was reasonably priced, and I'm not saying it's altogether bad food, but not noteworthy, either. The ambience was just "OK", nothing special.

Food is decent. Corkage is $3. You can't really go wrong. I recommend a glass of wine or a tasting flight at Heritage Wine (1 block north), then bringing a bottle in to Bizou. If you enjoy wine, that's the hustle.
