Crostini Toscana Nero @ Truffle Stall, Borough Market, London
(I think I got their name right)
£7 for a serious amount of spreadable chicken liver with a serious amount of black truffle aroma and flavour. Nicely oily, very savoury. A good deal. Probably worth grabbing some bread from De Gustibus to go with it.

I tried these guys a few weeks ago. Bought some of their foie gras with black truffle, £7 for 100g. Quite liked it but wasn't overly excited. Their terrines look quite good, might give one of them a go at some point.
In years gone by I used to like the selection of foie gras @ Comptoir Gascon, I haven't been there in a while but think they have a more limited selection nowadays. Also used to like Spanish foie gras (maybe los faraones brand?) from Brindisa and one or two Mediterranean delis, not sure if this is readily available in London anymore.

I assume it was duck foie @ Comptoir Gascon? Admittedly, I haven't been terribly excited by the small sample of foie gras I've had, wishing that we had better access to goose foie (preferably Alsatian, but beggars can't be choosers). Anyone seen any?

Yes duck liver @ Comptoir. Agreed about the primacy of goose foie gras, it probably is available in London but at a price. I studied for a year in Strasbourg so know all about those Alsatian geese, not that I could afford much foie gras as an impoverished student!!
