Near US Cellular
Going to a White Sox game in a few months and looking for a pregame meal....we're going downtown afterwards, so I'd like to stay south of or right around US Cellular.....we'll be coming from the south up I-57 to the Dan Ryan so anything along that stretch of road would be fine....It's going to be six guys for a bachelor party, so any kind of pizza, burgers, dogs, BBQ, etc. would be fine
The only place that jumped out at me was Wings Around the World on 75th....anyone have history with that place?

If you want some real chicago q, Uncle John's.
Take out only.
300's of E 69th street. Look it up.Other Chicago Q joints:
Exsenator's (pricey, but very good. further west and south)
Barbara Ann's (uncle j's is better imo)
You might also wanna check out Top Notch Burger on 75th!!!
Lem's bbq.
Healthy Food Lithuanian on Halsted
Ed's Potsticker House
A big spread somewhere in Chinatown? If it was me, I'd bring a cooler with some cold ones, stop at Uncle John's, get two large tip/link combos, and two full slab dinners with all sauce on the side. Then go park at the Cell and watch the cuties walk by with bq and brews.

Since you mentioned BBQ you might consider Honky Tonk in Pilsen, a little to the North, but not too far away. Note: BYO and cash only:

re: Mid Michigan Dining
Well, I can't speak to the quality of the food but if you want your cheeseburger (or corned beef) with a lot of local color, Schallers Pump might fit the bill. It's open for lunch, altho it's likely to be crowded before a Sox game:

Six guys...bachelor party and near south. I wouldn't toss Grace O'Malley's off my short list. It's an easy trip up S. Michigan from the ball park (hop across the Dan Ryan after the game on 31st-35th streets, east to Michigan and then left). It's a fake Irish pub sure, but good beers, decent enough pub-grub, a friendly crowd, cheap enough valet parking, and did I mention good beers?

re: Deacon Volker
Grace O'Malley's was great before a show at Soldier Field -
