Very random brunch observation

It seems to me that New York is unique in that brunch here is a Saturday and Sunday affair whereas most other places it is reserved for Sunday. Is that accurate?

Bar Blanc started brunch but it is Sunday's only

Yes -- big brunches are common place Saturday and Sunday, starting as early as 8am and often running until 4pm. And you can even have pancakes for dinner at the Clinton Street Baking Company.

Yep for the most part brunch is sat and sunday in NYC - except some places like Jane only have sunday brunch - i.e., includes the cocktail! I would just check with places beforehand - sometimes the drink is only included on sundays.. (after 12pm)
