Ahhh the Summer Grill

Like most people, I love to grill. Most of all, I love MY grill. It's been around for almost 10 years and the flavor that comes off of it is so delicious that I don't need to add wood chips to smoke or a cedar plank to cook.

So this topic is simply here to share stories about your grill: what you made last night, how many people did you serve, do you have a good grill story, recipes, etc.

I bought 2 small angus beef medallions the other day. In a mortar and pestle, I added traditional Montreal steak spice, dried oregano, a sprinkle of chili flakes and a touch of olive oil. I mashed it all up to bring out the aromas and form it into a paste. I then generously slathered it on both sides of the medallions and cooked it medium. It was absolutely delicious.

  1. I butchered 2 grills and a refrigerator to make myself a smoker that could do cold smoke as well.
