Venue for 10-12 person dinner?

  • 5

I'm looking for a good crowd-pleaser, preferably downtown, for a 10-12 person dinner in the $60/head range (including some booze, tax, tip) this Thursday. Mix of vegetarian, picky, and adventurous eaters. I've done this type of thing at Landmarc in the past but IMO even lowering my standards for a large group the food there is not up to par, so suggestions for alternatives would be very much appreciated. Thanks in advance!

  1. Try 'inoteca. They do a prix-fixe food menu for approx $35/pp, and if you choose a few of their more gently priced wines ahead of time, you should be able to stick to your budget. Their fixed price menu, as I recall, includes some vegetarian options as well as interesting/unusual pasta/meat dishes.

    1. Freeman's. It's a crowd pleaser, has something on the menu for everyone, great drinks and a fun atmosphere.

'Lil Frankies is very accommodating and priced right. The food is fresh and I think as far as the casual italian places go, its one of the best! Their wood burning stove makes it very special.

          Alta
          Otto
Blue Ribbon Bakery (really nice mix of stuff for picky eaters and adventurous eaters)
          Jane / The Smith
Kuma Inn (BYOB means you can save a bit)
