The server informed me that after 10pm, they were offering a half order of mussels and frites plus a glass of wine (2007 Ioppa Rosato di Nebbiolo) or pint of ale (Delirium Tremens) for a mere $12. I set aside my plan to get the gnocchi dish they were offering and ordered the special. I know there have been some recent negative reports on A Cote here, but my food last night was great--frites were hot and crisp; Pernod-perfumed broth for the mussels had a delightful texture and flavor. The serving size seemed just right for a light dinner or as a substantial snack for two.
