Non Allen's biz lunch spot needed on Danforth

Need a nice, but low key, business lunch spot on Danforth east of Broadview.

Needs not to be Allens.

It's a list of one. Globe. There really is no where else to choose from.

Full agreement with CamD.

If it's business, the only place on the Danforth I'd wanna go is Globe. If I am looking for a quick and cheap meal after work, sure, other spots would suffice, but not for a business meeting.

Another vote for Globe - great spot.

Others may disagree, but Il Fornello can be not-bad and it has a low key atmosphere while being a bit more formal than some of the Greek spots (and the menu may be more accessible than Globe for pickier eaters).

For a business lunch I too would recommend Globe if you're looking for a more conteporary place with professional service and an impressive menu. It's not overly formal though. If you want something a little more casual, try Mambo lounge a few doors east of Globe - Cuban tapas. Don't know if they serve lunch though. If you're not trying to impress and decor is no issue, then by all means, any of the Greek restos are equally good or bad, depending on your perspective. They do cater to all kinds of folks over lunch so expect to share the room with mommies and toddlers during your business lunch.

Darn, no. I just checked -- the patio is only open at 5 pm.
