Has anyone seen, much less tasted the most recent expressions? I'm talking about the ones just announced (different oaks, fine grain oak etc). I emailed BT and they said that sadly they won't be available in NY.

The newest series (fine grain oak and coarse grain oak) were just announced, so I doubt they are on the shelves yet, but in general, BT Experimentals are extremely limited releases and they don't stray far from Kentucky. I have only once ever seen one on the shelf in Los Angeles and it was four times the BT suggested retail price.

As to reviews, John Hansell of Malt Advocate hasn't posted a full review yet but tweeted that the Fine Grain was the better of the two.
