    Thanks so much for posting that. I read the Times (online) daily but missed it. Scott's is my all-time favorite BBQ "shrine". Great to see them getting ink in the NYT.

      I'm jealous you've been to to Scott's. Is the barbecue as good as it looks and sounds? I may have to make a road trip.

        Not to take away from the photography, which is excellent, but the BBQ is better than it looks and every bit as good as it sounds. All true Q lovers need to visit Scott's. It's not unusual to see cars from NY or other distant locales parked outside. I won't say parking lot because you basically park by the side of the road.

      My granddad would send us a few pounds of bbq for christmas. (He lived in SC, we live in CA) They'll pack and mail it to you: dry ice and air mail. Sometimes my aunt continues the tradition. If i friend is making the trip, have them send you some.
