MidWest Baseball Road Trip

ChristianW Jun 10, 2009 09:06 AM

Morning all! We are off on a Road trip this weekend and the leisure part will be from St. Louis to Omaha. Yep, it's to watch our team play baseball............How fun would it be to stop along the way & have 'fantastic' dining experiences? Please, if you have any suggestions, post them for us. Thanks!

This is right along I-80 almost to Omaha. Great little place to stop for dinner. If you will be in Des Moines, we have a lot of places in town these days that are worth trying out. Anything in particular you are looking for?

This is exactly the kind of thing we are seeking, right along an interstate since sadly we have a schedule going & coming. We'll be in treveling I -70 and I-29 though, so we;ll miss this one..........roadfood.com is new to me so it will be the 'jackpot'. thanks!

Ahh, yeah wasn't sure how you would travel. I have a friend that goes to St. Louis from Des Moines every few months, so wasn't sure what route you would take.

Ask on road food, they will be able to set you up, or punch in towns that you may stop in. Great for that sort of stuff. :)
