good breakfast spots around cape may NJ?
every year me & my girlfriends have a "girls weekend" & we stay in seashore campground in cape may.. on our last day we like to go and have a good breakfast & then hit the beach before we pack up and go home. we usually go to uncle bills, but it really doesn't do anything for us anymore. we want a new spot, a hole in the wall, anything, as long as the food is good and prices are reasonable.. i really don't want to spend anything over $15 with tip. so any suggestions would be helpful!! thanks!!

Want to add some interesting choices (along with more traditional fare) try Bella Vida Cafe at 406 Broadway. Dani0622 mentioned it earlier in this thread. I'll second the good food and good prices and add friendly service. Here's a link to their menu (they also have a vegetarian menu):

Our favorite is McGlades on Beach Ave, behind Morrow's Nut Shop on the boardwalk . It is outside dining, though covered, overlooking the beach and ocean. Fabulous views and even better seafood omelets. Crab, shrimp, avocado, sprouts, you name it, they do it. Delicious!!! Also on the menu, Belgian waffles, fruit platters, pancakes....Great local place, at a reasonable price.

I would agree that Mad Batter is the best 'upscale' breakfast in Cape May. It's fun to eat on their front porch and peoplewatch all the activity on Jackson Street. They may be over your price, so you should check their website.
Georges has a very good diner-type breakfast.
If you like pancakes(andyour mentioning of Uncle Bills suggests you do).Dock Mikes, right after the bridge int town has as wide a selection as Uncle Bills, is just as good, and is ually less crowded -

re: rking
I second the Mad Batter. Never been to George's but have heard very good things.
Another fav breakfast place of mine is Bella Vida in West Cape May, more of a local place since it's off the beaten path. I think this might be the place you are looking for. Good food, good prices.
