Lotus of Siam - help

I've read about Lotus of Siam on this board for so long, but I've never been able to make it there. I think we might make it for lunch this week. There are 6 of us, including several who like Thai food and a couple who have never had it. The website says they offer a lunch buffet. Has anyone ever tried it? Does it offer good options for diners trying Thai for the first time?

I'm not a Thai food expert by any means, I just know I like it. Any can't miss dishes for our first visit? Thanks for you help.

Barry, as a frequent solo visitor to Vegas I have frequented the buffet @ LOS for lunch many times. I have enjoyed it as it has given me a range of dishes at a reasonable price. I have to admit the choices aren't what I would have ordered off the menu if I were dining w/ a group....though the buffet has afforded me a taste of what LOS has had to offer. If you are visiting LOS @ lunch the full menu is available....so you can pick and choose.
