Barbara's Hungarian Food

a

Found my way here earlier today to sample the cooking .
I ordered a takeout Chicken Paprikas - $10 for two good sized breasts and a hefty portion of dumplings - oh yes and plenty of rich sour cream and paprika gravy .
Turned out to be enough for two meals and very good indeed !
Menu is limited but all good Hungarian favorites -Stuffed Cabbage , Stuffed Pepper , Pork Stew , Beef Stew etc .
All entrees are $ 9 to $ 11 .
For those that remember them Noodles with Cottage Cheese are $ 6 .
I would have tried the Palascinta but they were just starting to mix a batch of batter !
Location is 1400 Parkway Ave ( Rte 634 ) in Ewing , in the Mazzaro Shopping Center .
Hours 11 A.M. to 9 P.M. Tuesday - Saturday , and Sunday till 8 P.M. Closed Monday .
No web site yet but maybe soon .
Well worth a try .
