Father's Day Dinner in Columbia, MD

I'm taking my dad and nine year old sister to dinner for Father's Day. I know most restaurants will be crowded, but I'm looking for something nice in the vicinity...it doesn't have to be Columbia Proper. He really likes Italian food. Any suggestions? Thanks in advance!

    If you want a more casual dining recommendation near Victoria Gastropub -- try CoalFire pizza. They have more than just pizza on the menu. If it's too casual for Father's Day - it's an interesting alternative in the area.

      I second Dining with Doc's suggestion of Victoria Gastropub.

      For Italian, you could also try Aida Bistro off Rte 175. It's a little more pricey than Victoria so check the menu online.

        not italian but very good is Victoria Gastropub on Snowden River Parkway. Excellent food, reasonable prices, nice atmosphere and staff. google it and check out the website and menu

          Stella Note is a cool place with good food. Rt. 40 Ellicott City
