Need advice!

Hey all, I'm heading to Vancouver in July for vacation and am looking for a few recommendations. First, we would like to find a really nice place for dinner on one of the nights, preferably a restaurant with an interesting and worthwhile tasting menu. Second, any good ideas for breakfast and lunch places near touristy areas, where we will no doubt end up being nearby. And, finally, some cheaper places for dinner that aren't complete tourist traps. Thanks!

  1. Your handle had me running (well Googling, actually) to a Thesaurus.

Fuel would be my recommendation for tasting menus. They have a range of 4 to 6 courses at between $64 to $84 (plus wine). Breakfast/Lunch near touristy areas - Medina. Inexpensive dinner - Peaceful for Northern Chinese.

Scroll back a few weeks in this forum. We've had a few gastrotourists who have posted about their dining here in Vancouver in great detail.

Others will be by soon with their own favourites.
